Deloitte, a National Leadership Sponsor since 2009, focuses its philanthropic initiatives to support college readiness and skills based volunteering. Not only do they support the service of City Year by providing us with funding that helps keeps the students we serve in school and on track, but they also provide access to skilled mentors who help our corps members get prepared for their futures.
Navigating the future for corps members once they finish their term of service can feel like a daunting task. Thanks to the more than 225 Deloitte mentors who have invested in the leadership development of City Year corps members across the country by providing invaluable counsel on career management, it feels a lot more attainable.
According to Jordan Halane, a project leader serving with City Year New York, his mentor has provided him with tremendous guidance as he determines his future plans.

The Deloitte mentorship program is currently taking place at 13 of our City Year sites, and is a great opportunity for corps members to not only connect with Deloitte employees, but to have access to professional workshop trainings that address professional and leadership skills such as:

- Short and Long Term Goal Setting
