We are happy to inform you all that a handful of our Detroit corps member have been selected and are being considered for an exciting LACY opportunity through an initiative called Challenge Detroit! To seize this opportunity they need your help, here’s the skinny:
WHAT IS IT?
Challenge Detroit will invite 30 of tomorrow’s leaders to live, work, play, and give in and around the Detroit area for one year. Participants will receive incentives to live in selected areas of Detroit. They will work approximately 32 hours per week at their host company for an entire year, earning a $30,000 salary. To strengthen the bond between the 30 participants while demonstrating the positive qualities of the region, Challenge Detroit, along with local organizations, will make monthly social and cultural activities happen.
They will participate in monthly team challenges designed to positively impact the community while keeping the participants as well as the followers of Challenge Detroit Engaged.

The corps members listed below have applied and need your votes to get selected for this amazing opportunity. As a part of the application process they each created a video about themselves and why they are up to the challenge!

The voting takes place through Facebook and before you can vote, you must ‘like’ the ChallengeDetroit page. You can vote once a day per person through Friday April 13 which means that you can support as many corps members as you want!
